We built the Trifecta ALX with aircraft-grade aluminum panels that won’t crack or warp under extreme temperatures. The powder-coated matte black finish resists scratches and UV damage season after season.
Our MaxSeal™ vinyl system creates a continuous barrier across all three panels. Water channels at each hinge point direct moisture away from your cargo, while the rear seal compresses against your tailgate to eliminate gaps. We tested this cover in 150 mph wind tunnels and submersion tanks to ensure it performs in real-world conditions.
Tri-Fold Access & Load Flexibility
The three-panel design gives you complete control over bed access. Fold the first panel for quick gear retrieval. Open two panels when you need mid-bed clearance. Release all three panels and they stack neatly against your cab for full bed access with zero removal.
Panel Positioning Options

Trifecta ALX Installation & Features
Yes, the Trifecta ALX is fully car wash safe. Our MaxSeal™ vinyl system and aluminum construction handle high-pressure washing without damage. We recommend using touchless car washes when possible to preserve the matte finish. Thousands of customers drive through automatic washes weekly with no issues.
Make sure all latches are secured before entering the wash bay. The cover's low profile and aerodynamic design prevent water from getting underneath even during high-pressure rinse cycles.
The aluminum panels support up to 400 pounds of evenly distributed weight when the cover is fully closed and latched. This allows you to stack gear on top during camping trips or temporary storage situations.
We don't recommend using the cover as a permanent cargo platform or standing on it during installation. The tri-fold design is engineered for bed protection and access convenience rather than heavy load-bearing across the panels.
The Trifecta ALX installs over most spray-in and drop-in bed liners without modification. Our Quick Clamp™ system attaches to the factory bed rails above your liner. If you have bed rail caps installed, the clamps adjust to accommodate rail widths from 1.5 to 3 inches.
We recommend leaving at least one inch of clearance between your bed liner edge and the bed rails. This ensures the clamps have adequate gripping surface for secure installation.
The Trifecta ALX features aluminum panels for increased durability and a premium matte finish. The Trifecta 2.0 uses enhanced fabric over a lightweight aluminum frame, making it our most affordable tri-fold option.
Both covers share the same Quick Clamp™ installation system and tri-fold convenience. The ALX provides harder protection and a more rigid structure with its 150-degree hinge system, while the 2.0 offers lighter weight and a softer profile. Choose based on your protection needs and budget.
Most customers complete installation in 20 to 30 minutes without drilling or permanent modifications. The Quick Clamp™ system requires only the included SpeedKnobs—no additional tools needed.
We provide truck-specific instructions with each cover. If you can measure your truck bed and turn a knob, you can install the Trifecta ALX. Our customer support team is available if you have questions during the process.
We don't recommend driving with the panels folded open. The cover is designed to operate in the closed position during transit to maintain weather protection and aerodynamics.
If you need to haul tall cargo, you can remove the entire cover in under two minutes using the Quick Clamp™ release system. Store it in your garage and reinstall when you need bed protection again. This takes less time than securing open panels for highway travel.
The low-profile design improves aerodynamics compared to driving with an open bed. Many customers report maintaining or slightly improving their highway fuel efficiency after installation.
